GetWegovy Direct isn't a pharmacy — it's an online consultation service that gets you a script, then sends you to a pharmacy to actually collect the medicine. Steps below are as described on getwegovy.co.za.
Check that your preferred pharmacy currently stocks Wegovy at the dose you'd start on (0.25 mg) before beginning the process.
A roughly 10-minute online questionnaire covering medical history, current medication, allergies and eating-disorder screening.
A R250 online consultation fee (charged by Online Doctor SA) is paid before your form is reviewed — separate from the cost of the medicine itself.
An HPCSA-registered South African doctor, via Online Doctor SA, reviews your answers and decides whether Wegovy is appropriate and safe for you.
If approved, your script is emailed to you — same day, usually, during business hours.
You take the script to Clicks, Dis-Chem, another local pharmacy, or a delivery-enabled pharmacy. GetWegovy Direct doesn't dispense, stock or courier the medicine itself — that's between you and the pharmacy you choose.
Note: getwegovy.co.za states on its own site that it is "not affiliated with Novo Nordisk" — it describes itself as an independent information resource and a feeder brand of Online Doctor SA, not an official Novo Nordisk channel.
Only Wegovy is offered as a product here — Ozempic and Mounjaro/tirzepatide are mentioned on their site only for comparison content, not sold through this service.
